New Everton Stadium

As its on topic about the needs of a new larger stadium, and doubts about our ability to sell out our own stadium... 8th most sold out club ground in the top 5 leagues...

Very surprised Anfield isn't on that list.
I mean, it's sold out years in advance with no chance of getting a ticket according to our neighbours... :hayee:

There's always gonna be a small percentage of unsold tickets at Goodison because of the large number of the notoriously bad obstructed view seats - and the way these poor seats aren't heavily reduced in price which seems odd.
I think they've written them off tbh, if the game's really big they'll sell enough which counts as a bonus

I think the home areas even allowing for obstructed seats have all sold out this year, it just accounts for say an away team takes the lesser allocation of around 1800(Lower Bullens and Paddock) and doesn't sell out for instance Palace our lowest gate about 700 below capacity, they must have brought around a thousand, that's my thoughts anyhow!!

It's great to know that the one place I set my heart on as a future home - about 5 years ago - is coming to fruition.

I've always been a passionate advocate for regeneration of places like the Liverpool docks (and well remember having the same conversations about Albert Dock 30 plus years ago).. so, yeah, just great we're going somewhere iconic and central.
