Tons of posts on here about capacity and what we would fill and what we will get and reasons why
Some of the main points being
32/34 k season tickets already
10/12 k waiting list
5/7 k corporate
15/20 % new stadium bounce
4/5 k walk ups with docklands area being the attraction
No restricted views
The last 5/10k seats are the most expensive to build but return the least revenue
So anywhere from 50k to 65k being mooted with 61878 being the preferred capacity for many, myself included
I do know it cosst a lot more to extend an existing stadium by 10k than to originally build the extra 10k at the start
Yes, the general consensus seems to be that the capacity should be 60,000 at the minimum. 61,878 is favoured by many, for obvious reasons.
Probably the same romantics that wanted Rooney back
Just because we don’t know doesn’t mean the club don’t knowFind it really odd that this far down the road from Moshiri taking over and given the fact that he obviously knew we needed a new stadium,we still have no idea of what it will look like or what the capacity will be.

Be nice if they shared it with the supporters, but then we aren't really that important.Just because we don’t know doesn’t mean the club don’t know
Their situation was different they are surrounded by existing streets and infrastructure. We could easily had a stadium design ready, which could have been tweaked depending on the final site. After two false starts you'd have thought they had some plans already.Mate he only took over 2 years ago & plans have been in progress for over a year of that. It took the reds 4 years to start constructing an extension after FSG took over.

https://www.dailypost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/moving-kings-dock-would-put-11377696They were adding 8,000 seats to a stand and had to wait 6 months for the council to finalize the purchase of a few houses.
We’re trying to build a stadium on a dock filled with water, which is part of a world heritage conservation area (which includes a Grade 2 listed tower & walls) and was owned by a private company who were planning to redevelop the site as part of a large scale £5.5bn development (Liverpool Waters),whilst waiting on the city council to approve (a slightly controversial) loan to help finance the project.
Wonder what the hold up is?
Or maybe Moshiri has learned by his mistakes and the club are not prepared to say anything until everything is in placeBe nice if they shared it with the supporters, but then we aren't really that important.
A picture and an idea of how many it might seat is hardly giving away state secrets.Or maybe Moshiri has learned by his mistakes and the club are not prepared to say anything until everything is in place
