New Everton Stadium

The tv rights deal applies to all clubs in the PL. If that was the key development it doesn't answer why Everton have apparently been drawing blanks on investment.

It has to be something more specific to Spurs. Everton are viewed by all sectors on Merseyside as a bad risk over stadium schemes. They lack credibility. It's little wonder that the local authority is having problems persuading internal critics concerning the numbers involved. Add that to the lack of stability on the pitch then we are not in the position Spurs were before they finally got their build off the ground.

"apparently"? You have no idea whatsoever.

Years away this, lets be honest while we fumed that it didnt come off under Bill, the fact nothing solid seems to be happening now, under a guy who does have money and connections, its shows how hard this is to do. Bill had good intentions, well maybe not Kirby, but was way out of his depth and with all the will in the world was never going to pull it off, question is can Farhad?

Nothing good about any of his intentions with Everton

Total and utter guesswork.

The deal has gone from a SPV, to a direct loan from an institution supported by the council to Everton securing their own loan for the full build...all in 18 months

3 different stances. The lease for for the actual site won’t be signed until financing is secured and they’ve now created a senior position in the club to see this through.

Something has not as planned somewhere along the lines. This may come to fruition, but there’s also a possibility it won’t

It's like there's a force field around some people over BMD - one that screens out all reality.

There’s a certain timeline you have to put on these things before you question if this is on track or not. I gave it 12 months, which IMO was more than enough time to secure their own portion of the funding. It would have been one small obstacle and you could at least say “well their on the right track”

But the story is changing regarding the basis of the funding model as I mentioned above, we are blind to what the plan actually is.

All this and we haven’t hit planning yet. God knows what’s going to happen then

Would any organisation take this lot seriously with cash and the logistics of using it to get a major project completed?!

Look at the people at the club: they are 'kin rank. Look at the new CEO, and her assistant CEO Keith Harris.

You'd run a mile.

Everything about the club at senior level is a catastrophe. They just stink of incompetence. No one follows ideas from that lot. And dont get me started on their council patsy Anderson.

No, if you had cash to invest you;d never dream of putting it in that lot's hands. never in a million years.

The villains are being lined up already as the fall guys for BMDs failure. The club just have to choose a convenient time to drop the whole thing. Early next Spring would be my guess...and they'll be hoping against hope we're doing well on the pitch when they do drop that bombshell.
