When Moshiri took over the club Durban had already been selected as hosts, so please, stop chatting wham.

In February 2016 it was announced that Moshiri had sold his stake in Arsenal Football Club to Red & White Holdings partner Usmanov in a bid to raise capital required to launch a takeover at Everton F.C

It was reported in February 2017 that Durban may be unable to host the games due to financial constraints.

Moshiri bought the club on 27 Feb 2016.
6 weeks layers Anderson comes out and says he is interested in bidding for the 2026 commonwealth games.

Kenright would have been aware of this a few months before as there would of been discussions with various organisations whether a bid for the commonwealth games could be made.

Both kenright and moshiri were hoping for a man city/west ham scenario

No, it literally doesnt.

Your point was that because they werent going to get 2022 CWG he now no longer wants to build a stadium, as proved by him shortly after buying into Everton saying he wanted to get the CWG.

But he said he wanted the 2026 CWG, which bidding hasnt happened for yet, so HOW WOULD THAT EFFECT THE STADIUM?
 
can we have a ferry station by the ground to save on the traffic?

Is there going to be a new (re opened old) railway station bythe ground?

What about a new dock lands metro line?

Does anyone have info on these, or is it just conjecture on the perceived dealings of mega businessmen and lots of virtual cash?

Any info appreciated

Pretty sure a new railway station is to built - after Sandhills iirc ?
