New Everton Stadium

No Oligarch is investing in a football club in the UK, this will take more than 2 years to simmer down, was it only this week that the head of MI6 was saying they need a bigger budget and more recruitment to spy on Russia as they are the biggest threat to the UK, Putin has another 10 years as president, he changed the constitution to 3 term limits, He will win the next election in 4 years time and do another 6 years.

And even if he does buy us he'll want to be sole owner in writing and official with the ownership rules in the PL and even more scrutuny now under UEFA , who's ever bought a football being incognito behind a "puppet", and what billionaire invests in a club without any returns unless they are Government (UAE Qatar being examples who don#t care for returns) who use buying clubs as a PR tool to deflect from their human rights abuses and show their country in a good light.

And FFP 2.0 coming in and more stringent scrutiny and 100 million euro net spend no new club will be able to spend like City and PSG and that door will be shut.

And with a Euro Super League being close any rich oilgarch, billionaire or state will buy a club who's going to be in that.

For an Everton fan your mighty concerned about Usmanov having influence in Everton aren't you.

USM sponsers our training ground

The money Moshiri used to buy Everton came from Usmanov

Moshiri's stake in USM was gifted to him by Usmanov

Usmanov has repeatedly said he'll consider investing in Everton, be it officially or "helping" his friend

Bill Kenwright, Farhad Moshiri and Usmanov are linked in a number of recent projects including 2 of Bill Kenwrights theatre productions (why would one of the worlds richest men be arsed with some small time musical)

BMD is a massive project and thats why Usmanov/Moshiri are interested in EFC - 3 seasons ago Moshiri and Usmanov owned 30% in Arsenal, now Moshiri owns us and Usmanov has recently sold his Arsenal stake (after buying out Moshiri who then days later used the funds to buy us)

You can fantasize about a Euro super league or EUFA being onto Man City and PSG all you like however you and I both know the super rich always find loopholes, always have done and always will which is bad news for you guys. As I've said previously in 10 years time EFC will be the bigger club in the city, massive own goal by the kopites to gift us the BMD project while they stay in the ghetto of Anfield.

Moshiri and Usmanov were listed in the credits (maybe as producers, can't remember) of a recent film starring Jenny Seagrove...Some Mothers Son, which, for one of mrs degsy's picks, was not too bad.

One thing I will say is that this stadium needs to happen sooner rather than later.

There is definitely an effort of the Kopites trying to push hard to make it appear its 'there' city recently (Klopp and Salah murals) and whilst the Liver Buildings turned blue was ace it would be fantastic if the club could put forward some news such as images of the ground, confirmation of funding etc.

I know we'll likely hear nothing for the next 6-8 months now until public consultation two but we can dream... I think confirmation of funding being in place would be enough to satisfy the fanbase for now and also cause that lot to seeth knowing full well it'll be going ahead.

1. Moshiri is Usmanovs puppet so any money pumped into us can easily be done under Farhads name (see USM) so no trace can be made to big Alisher should he need to go in hiding.

2. Once Brexit is under way the Govt will be too busy to be messing around with the Russians.

If people seriously believe Usmanov has no link to EFC they are living in a bubble. Once the stadium is underway he'll become more overt in 1-2 years time once the poisoning is no longer in the news imo.
1) if city or psg can't pump money into their own club without causing suspicion, not a chance in hell is usmanov funding a stadium especially now with the British government keeping a close eye on him.

2) nonsense

3)the money for the sponsorship came before he was being looked into.

I think it's no coincidence usmanov sold his share in arsenal and abramovich has privately put Chelsea up for sale as well and in the wake of the attacks

Moshiri and usmanov are close but I don't think they are that close that usmanov would risk being banned from the country and having his assets here frozen.

Causing suspicion? Who cares Man City are about to win back to back league titles and PSG are CL regulars, I dont think their owners give a damn what EUFA say or do as they don't have the cajones to do anything about it.

Usmanov sponsers our training ground like it or not, Moshiri's wealth comes from USM - Moshiri is owner of EFC not Usmanov yet Moshiri used Usmanovs money to buy EFC - its as clear as day the involvement only you kopites terrified of it being a reality cant see it.

Moshiri can afford to buy Everton for £150 millin, pump another £150 million into the club, fund a new stadium costing £500 million + yet only has a net worth of £1.3 billion which is chicken feed compared to the likes of Mike Ashley, Leicester's owners, Southamptons etc. Who cant afford to invest anywhere near that level.

Oh and Usmanov is Uzbek not full on Ruski, totally different ball game targetting him which is why Abramovich was looking to get Israel citizenship when all the anti Russian claptrap was coming from the tories.

Work it out bud...

Going forward there might be problems but I highly doubt it as money talks.

However if you think uncle uzzy isn't already highly invested in us then you're just deluded.

1.3bn net worth in cash, shares and investments and hes put over a quarter of that into everton?

That makes sense to you? Because it makes less than zero sense to me.

What a load of utter drivel. Mate, just enjoy being top for now before the inevitable implosion.

You can pump in as much money as like into infrastructure.

FFP only relates to the relationship between wages and transfers against TV, ticket and sponsorship money.

Ground builds/development, training facilities, youth development is not included.

The whole point being to make a profit.
300m pumped in add a 500m stadium add money for transfers, were no where near 4th now or in the near future. Add another 300m for transfers over the next 5 years to try and break the top 4.

That's over a billion, can you really see moshiri selling the club for £1bn+.

Surprised you’re on here today, being top of the league.

Nowhere near 4th? Add a top striker to turn 2-3 of our draws into wins and we would definitely be near top 4 when you look at our results. The fact it took a last minute cock up for you to beat us at Anfield shows how far we've come in under 6 months of the new manager/DOF - its a shame we never had them last season when we wasted £130 million as we would easily be stronger that what we are now.

My own opinion is that the Liverpool Waters project is what Usmanov/Moshiri are mainly interested in, EFC just happen to be the football club thats a large part of the project.

Owning a football club on the docks of a well known city thats part of a 1 billion pound regeneration makes perfect sense from a business point of view.

Everton at a run down Goodison Park is worth about £200 million.

Everton in a new 55,000 seater stadium on Bramley Moore Dock next to bars, restaurants, hotels, marina's and a 20 minute walk away from Liverpool ONE and the city centre with a strong squad is easily worth quadruple what Moshiri paid for it. Add in the investment opportunities in terms of naming rights, advertisement etc. LFC made a massive cock up not moving from Anfield mate.

It doesnt feel like it right now as your top and rightly so, but nothing stays the same in football and once Klopp leaves your one bad managerial appointment or transfer window away from back fighting it out for 4th/5th whereas we can only look up imo.

Enjoy the good times whilst you can as I've always said Everton in 5-10 years time will be completely different to the EFC of present and I hope im around to see the good times return.
