New Everton Stadium

No dave, you have the floor, please tell me what you think she is MEANT to be doing?

or at the very least tell me what you think her role is within the club.

Her role appears to be issuing meaningless statements full of corporate-speak bollocks every two months or so.

Hold on though, she did set up a global search to head hunt a stadium development director...and ended up choosing Colin"Chongy" Chong, from just down the corridor from her at the Liver Building.

Hats off.

Colin Chong to sit under the board director accountable for the stadium which is Keith Harris, who isn’t really because apparently Ryzantev also is. A nice clear structure to deliver success...

as clear as a muddy puddle.

why anyone would want harris , who delivered Wembley so far behind and over budget that they are looking to sell it, is anyones guess

It's all nonsense designed to fill time between 'next stages' of the stadium process. 'Stadium development director' for Everton; that's a sinecure if ever there was one.

Genuine question Dave, If/when the stadium gets built do you think it will change your mind on the regime and how you see Everton as a whole?

Sure. How could it not.

It wont be though. It's just another wing and a prayer idea.

Good people being led up the garden path yet again...that's what gets me.

lets be honest, even if it was to start , theres no saying it wouldn't be one expensive disaster after the next... weve got people involved with actual form for it. over seeing disasters...

you should be worried even when we start building it.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. It is not without any risk of course as if we as a country have massive issues after Brexit then that could lead to a postponement. But I think they have a fairly robust plan this time unlike previous attempts.

Moshiri would have stopped spending by now else. I know you'll say that is more down to the TV money increase but if you look at other clubs they are not doing the same.

You should be more positive today Frank, you got your licence...see miracles can and do happen! :p;)

Because it genuinely pains me to see two blues so bereft of hope and optimism, I will be stupidly optimistic on Dave and Bigbluenoses behalf. I would like to think that in return they will allocate a little of their world-weariness to me so we all three end up with some sort of cosmic balance?

I think the ground will be built, that is will look boss and that it will be just the right size for the number of match going Evertonians to fill it to the brim and make a hell of a racket as we play our new model brand of sweeping football.

I appreciate that my optimism is largely without foundation, but I have lived through enough scheize in my long years of being an Everton fan to know that every once in a while, when the planets align, something glorious occurs (see Alex Young generally, Alan Ball generally, Big Bob’s 30, the Bayern semi, the Amokachi semi etc. ) and I have a feeling in my groinal fluids that such a convergence is due soon, vault me! :)
