Can see the council pulling the plug on rejuvenating the entire north end of the docks because of this. All them jobs to be created, all the income from shops, bars, concerts etc etc all to be sacrificed to keep an empty dock as world heritage site.

I see Special Dispensation FC didn't have any trouble clearing away a whole new football ground worth of space nor indeed constructing a new Main Stand that is am eyesore for miles around.

Well when the renders come through mate next month, and then they are hoping to sort planning permission end of the year, I guess between end of July and at latest December they will have to prove that they have the funding in place/secured to get to that point.

So if you are correct and planning permission is the reason they give for the failure, then at least everyone will know before the year is out yeah.
