New Everton Stadium

In my opinion they will be showing imagery of the stadium that will certainly provide a strong lead as to the final stadium build. They will be careful of committing to it being anything past that as there may yet be design changes suggested through planning.

Edit:

Yeah, I reckon you'll see full images of the proposed stadium interior and exterior.

Think you you've got this fairly spot on. It's been the bane of my developing life picking up schemes from previous developers where they've released early images of proposed designs that then stick in the planners little minds and they won't change from these despite all sense saying they should or for that matter it not being of any real material difference to the overall development.

Any development team worth their salt will have spent the last year in pre-app discussions with the local authority getting to the stage where we are hopefully, on the 25/26th with a design that will go forward, once submitted for planning with a recommendation for approval. If I was in charge I certainly wouldn't be releasing any designs or drawings until I was at this stage whatever Joe public or Jane forum was screaming for.

I've posted on here before that I've been involved in schemes of less than ten houses that have taken over ten years from initial inception to actually being built so I wouldn't worry about a delay or two along the way on a development of this size and complexity. I'm also too old (and wise) to be worry about whether the club are actually serious about moving to BMD and I absolutely love going to Goodison Park any way so will miss it when it's gone but I can understand those that go regularly and see the new stadium as a statement of intention of the club moving forward getting more frustrated.

BMD will be a millstone, with the groundworks alone it'll come in at vastly more than the sums stated, the accounts at the moment don't justify the outlay whatever the long term payments. Playing in a nice new 'iconic' stadium will be nice in the second division, but don't worry, it won't be happening.
You not got Spaniards to be pushing into fountains?

You seen the engineers design for the groundworks then and quickly done a "take off" and estimate of the works involved?
