New Everton Stadium

It was a model and design proposals, I remember being very excited at the time. I really hope this one goes through and is something genuinely great. Here’s some good info on the kings dock farce

What did the inside of the stadium design look like mate? I don't think I ever saw a pic of the stands, only the overhead one with the fireworks

If the club had secured PP I;d be jumping for joy. This? Nah.

I'm interested though.
Well this is what it all boils down to. You can make all the plans you want and get everything in place, but if we don’t get planning permission then it’s not getting built.

That’s why, despite many many bedwetters cryarsing about numerous public consultations and the time this is taking, the club are being as thorough and as careful as they possibly can to ensure a positive outcome from that planning application.

Exactly. And you can bet your bottom dollar that every single part of the planning has been steered, cleared, and advised on by planning experts. That aint to say it will be waved through, it wont be, cos thats not allowed.

But there is little chance of a curve ball objection or issue coming up.

The stadium was close to the pitch I remember that , it was like one of those model works in a glass case, one of those model workshop type things before painting. I don’t remember any specific inside features. It reminded me a little of Ajax Amsterdam which wasn’t that surprising as Kenwright and Paul Gregg had visited there.

Yes, but time marches on.

Yes, but time marches on.

You cant rush it mate. Well, you can try, but the process up to now has been dull beyond belief most likely for those working on it.

Planning and more importantly Building regs change, then change again, with a rapidity and frequency that most wouldnt believe. We have nattered in here about safe standing for example, but remember that change that came in about the width or depth of seats?

Then the UEFA rules re being able to be a stadium for them to use? Removal of front rows, different/approved camera angles, and in between, no doubt the provision of VAR capability must be considered which wasnt even an issue when this thread kicked off.

It isnt easy, and it aint quick.
