Anyway should be exciting hopefully Meis delivers because he's certainly talked a big game. Leaving Goodison will be sad regardless.

You wouldn’t...you’d get a mortgage, trust your own ability to make money and make your capital work for you instead of worrying about the low interest rate on your repayments.

Exactly. Billionaires borrow in almost every single real estate development even if they have the cash lying around. If your returns are higher than your cost of capital it just makes sense. Theses guys aren’t billionaires for no reason.

I feel sick at the thought of leaving GP. Be like losing a family member. Always been there in my life from a toddler. I know nothing else other than thats where im supposed to be every other week and thats where a massive part of my life will always be. Some of my happiest times, some of my worst. It's part of me, and every one of us.
None of us can let that go without a tear and a fight.
But we have to.

This is going to be incredible.

To leave Goodison and it not be as dark a day as it will be, it had to be for the waterfront. And we're pulling it off. I thought we'd blown this with Kings Dock and the chance was gone.

Then there's the design on the inside, which looks like it's going to be incredible and as Goodison-like as we could possibly have hoped for. I thought this location and a design that prioritised atmosphere and Goodison-like features was simply too much to ask, but that's what they're genuinely trying/going to deliver. If they do (and I'm certain they will now), I'll forever be grateful to all those who made it happen. I mean, we could easily have taken the cheap option with this.

The thing is, it's a great video (although why they think we all rate Davies is beyond me) and Thursday is a key day, but those leaked docs have already shown the stadium. We know what it will look like.
