I been thinking this about the media team too... That rafting video the day was brilliant as well, got plastered all over Sky Sports, really getting us noticed again...

I saw an advert the other day, pretty sure it was Coca Cola or some other big brand, saw the expected Sky 6 but then there we were getting our Royal Blue plastered on screen and I thought to myself, hang on, something big is brewing again... The sleeping giant will tamed no more!

You know that twitter pic of him in the top left corner Tommy, well one of those stands you can see on the left the roof looks like a wave shape and it's held up by some kind of mast. I wonder if it might be similar to that

I was watching the Tifo video about Spurs and they were saying that cos a stadium is an asset, then any costs associated with it are just considered part of the overall asset value when completed. Am sure they phrased it better but its interesting that something costing so much money and racking up copious debt is actually considered a + on the balance sheet.

The debt isn't an asset, it's well, a debt. But yes, rather than the other side of the entry being an expense, it's an asset. honestly, it's irrelevant. A capital asset is solely a vehicle for depreciation, which is a non cash transaction only used to calculate taxes.

Businesses may report a certain way, but they run on cash. So it doesn't really matter.

But in Spurs case, they had crazy debt because they had cost overruns and had workers working crazy overtime and all sorts of things. Meis has a really good track record in terms of delivery on budget.
