New Everton Stadium

The board of directors of Everton Football Club Company Limited have no intention whatsoever to either build a new stadium or redevelop the existing one.
How long will all of you keep hanging on to the idea that something is going to happen? Please please just look at the information on the financial thread, which the Esk has painstakingly provided for us.
It's not happening, never was and never will.

I think several others contributed too mate ;)

It's very simple, no investment = no chance of new stadium or re-development of Goodison (assuming that is possible)

They (the Board) have to invest, bring investors in, or sell.

It's pitiful that good numbers, spurred on by the occasional Echo article every six months or so, actually believe this board has either the intent or finance to deliver a new stadium

The thread's title assumes the Everton Board on some interstellar flight travelling at near the speed of light : when they return to L4, what will be months to them, will have been 1000s of millennia to earth's Evertonians...
...that is when new stadium debate will be announced...

Which reports were they mate? The official minutes did not mention anything.

Sorry that was a misleading use of the word "report" :) I didn't mean an actual document. I should have said "comments made by one of the attendees (Tom Hughes) after the recent shareholders meeting".

Just to be 100% clear this time I've no idea if the plans were viewed some time before or during the meeting... but the comments were made after it on another forum.

Cheers mate, appreciate that.

Tom Hughes......oh right, then he'll have completely impartial then....and have given a real objective view of whatever was placed on the table.

Well, if true, one tier wrapped around a la the Walkers Stadium is as basic as you can get. I just hope these rumours are wrong

Even then mate it will only be a debate about the possibility, of having a discussion about the possibility of maybe having a board meeting about the prospect of the possibility Arr ffs you know where I'm going with this.
and following all that, the Board will take off for a few months on an interstellar flight travelling at close to the speed of light........

....rinse and repeat...
