New Everton Stadium

Wonder what the "evolutions" are?

Fan zone and bars?

Hoping it's something to do with the external facace with the big home end, the "Everton" on it was just a placard.

Also want to see what they're doing with the concourse, open plan or separate areas?
I hear they are having to put a double seat in the directors box so our Russian saviour can park his arse there. (yes I did say Russian because he is)
They are adding an Italian restaurant and calling it either Carlos Place or Ancelottis Gaff, whatever he decides when he arrives over the weekend.

On a serious note, I can imagine a lot of potential retail and restaurant space on the stadiums exterior being left void until the area is more built up with the apartments and hotels etc.

The brick facade area of the stadium is massive, the stadium will definitely be planned to be utilised to its maximum on none match days.

I also hope the top two stories of the car park are potentially used for something else too, for the river views.

You have got your wires crossed here slightly. S106 agreements address the impacts of a particular development which should not otherwise be funded from the public purse, otherwise known as planning obligations i.e. the need for highway improvements, additional social, community or educational facilities etc. which would not be required without the development. The actual ability to fund the development is quite a separate matter, and is not something which the planning authority has any direct interest in. The award of planning permission is often the catalyst for attracting the necessary funding, as in speculative developments where someone can see the potential but doesn't necessarily have the money or intention to invest upfront. The whole Liverpool Waters concept falls into this category.

Hadn't got my wires crossed at all but perhaps poorly worded my response to the initial query whereby they were concerned that the council want to know we have the funds for the stadium before committing themselves to carrying out any works themselves associated with the stadium. My view was they'd expect the club to carry out or pay for an element of these works and that if so a section 106 type agreement would cover this, and if required would need to be put in place prior to the planning consent/conditions being released.

I'm pretty sure we mean the same thing anyway. ;)

As long as it's not called Moysies munchies.

Yes, I was just clarifying the point in response to the original query as the poster obviously isn't familiar with the planning system.

I've just been on the people's project app and does anyone else think the evening images look slightly different?

I thought the exits were on the front rows but looks like they are a few rows back now. Probably just me but it just looks slightly different in a good way.
