New Everton Stadium

demolition of Goodison Park will begin in August 2023

For how good the new stadium will be, that's a sad sentence to read there, but i was asking the other day would the Goodison park works start straight after we move to Bramley Moore, which it seems now it would, my point being from the start of construction on Bramley Moore to the finished works at Goodison that will be some huge investment in the city over a good 5 year plus period, creating alot of work and money to the local area at a time when it will be really needed, the council would be mad to knock it back

I love the fact we build houses and schools for the community, the real club of this city

Surely he doesn't even believe what he is writing nowadays. I think he has either fallen out of love with Everton after his reputation was smashed or more likely, has seen that taking a contrary approach yields far more traffic than being on the same page (the davek method).

I think he does believe it and I think he enjoys whoring himself to anyone who will take him/listen to him.

Though, that's a thread for a different day. This is the stadium thread and despite his negativity, we'll be in BMD soon enough.

He’s gone from being the most excited person in the world about the Moshiri takeover (things will never be the same blag) to putting an irrationally negative spin on anything Everton, while trying to sell himself as someone with a professional/considered opinion.

So you wouldn't prefer the RS way which is to totally decimate the area around the ground. Leave houses empty for 20 odd years and get burnt out even though their are other people in houses in the street until when the street is so bad they have to sell their house to the club because it is basically worthless. Have public meeting with residents surrounding the stadium and then totally disregard them. Liverpool FC the community club haha

The Esk just casually using a Kopite as back-up to push that Everton won’t get the finance for a new stadium. Not like the Kopite would have any hidden agenda, would he?

All-time record low interest rates. That's all you need to look at. As soon as some certainty comes back in to the economy, investors will be gagging to get their money moving as quick as possible.
