New Everton Stadium

He also said that about July/September/October/End of the year... now it’s Jan/Feb probably March

This PP committee don’t half mess about
There cant be many people following this saga that can disagree with his sentiments surrounding the effect of the pandemic on the normal running of society in general. I am massively disheartened by the delay and wanted us to go into the new year knowing that the construction would start right away.
Having said all that, the section on the economic benefits provided a bit of cheer and on paper, only Kopites would argue against that.
Fingers crossed (again) that by the end of Feb we are up and running.

No mention of the monorail. What a joke,

My mate mr Chong says we should get approval by February 2021 and then building will start shortly thereafter

Nice one lad
He said... "It is our understanding that Liverpool City Council expect to determine both our Bramley-Moore Dock and Goodison Park applications in the coming weeks, with a special committee meeting due to be scheduled for late January or early February."

No concrete date for the planning meeting so approval by February is nowhere close to being assured. And as the stadium finance isn't yet secured and in place, work won't begin until it is... as Laing O'Rourke will want 100% guarantees that funding is in place to pay for all/any work done.
Third quarter at best before work starts imo.
