New Everton Stadium

I disagree - simple press releases expressing disappointment and frustration and LCC's continued delays, the economic impact of not getting started and re-iterating the clubs intent to turn sod as quickly as possible. They need to smoke out the decision & force LCC's hand, this could be done, or at a minimum the club should be offering a more robust position on their desire to expedite decision...

The poeple at EFC will be working closely with LCC and no doubt sympathetic with current ways of working. Why on earth would you strain relations that may well be excellent? You have no idea what they are like.

Here's the paper work they're diligently going through:

Mate you post was funny but can you please refrain from posting pictures of this shower thatI would rather not see!!!!!!!

Is it true that the application wasn't actually looked at until 24/02. I'm sure somebody posted that on here months ago?
Yeah, that’s rings a bell.

Liverpool City Council is one of the most inept councils in the entire country.

Everton already hinted that they’re slowing the whole process down.

Fat Joe needs to sort his legal troubles out and get back into office and telling the useless planning lot to get a move on.

Simple, to speed up your desired outcome. Tension a healthy part of any business / joint partnership.

Couldn't disagree more. If there's an issue you work it out privately, you don't pander to an impatient set of supporters publicly. You have no idea if there's even an issue.

This is the Red echos lead story today. Meanwhile half the City are waiting for an investigative article on why there are planning delays for Evertons new stadium which will provide a massive boost to Merseyside's economy post covid!

I honestly dont get how the pandemic has affected planning so much. Not like they are dealing with the actual issues caused by COVID and as key workers they'll have been working through both lockdowns and can easily do skype/zoom meetings.

Just inept.
Me neither. If Covid rules are reducing the amount of work being completed then the Council has not adapted properly. For example, why does sitting down doing your workload at home mean less being done?
