They're two bowls and a bunch of seats. I've visited a fair few of those as they're literally everywhere here. Nothing to it. That's BMD. Yeah no obstructed views, maybe the bathroom is nicer, but less character too. I think that matters. You all seem not to. It is what it is.

Have you actually seen the designs of BMD?

It's not even close to being a soulless bowl

A lot of thought and effort has been put into it's design in order to avoid just that

Yeah instead it is Spurs stadium on the inside but with two bowls on three sides and a big home end instead of three bowls on three sides and a big home end. It isn't unique at all. It's a stadium.

Nah. Gate revenue means less and less. Goodison is Everton. We lose a piece of us when we leave.

And perhaps losing a piece of us is a good thing, because from the way I see it, the whole thing is completely cooked at the moment.

I am hoping BMD is the start of new Everton.

You know Goodison is just one of many stadiums designed by the same guy right?

There are things in Goodison that you find elsewhere in other stadiums, such as in Ibrox

Stadium's may share certain similar design traits sometimes, but that doesn't mean they can't be distinct and unique from one another

Maybe I'm being too romantic about it. But I'd just rather see an Everton side playing at Goodison and being contenders than anywhere else in the world.
