Id imagine they will stay in the river using a 11-300 tandem mooring hose. I'd say right now they are just docking in until work gets done.

Yes, exactly. So I don't think they are in the dock to drain the dock. That's got to be some time off yet.

Presumably they have some part to play in the survey of the dock walls that's ongoing? That's surely the most likely explanation for now...

Qell given they can travel at about 9 knots an hour and they need to go about 100 yards ! don't be too sure .

Wedge him in the North Entrance then we only have to seal the South.
