Sure our record crowd was 78,000, just looked it was 78,299 v Liverpool 1948.

Anfield is going to be a strange layout: the recognised home end is going to be dwarfed by the other stands....unless they're looking to expand the Kop at some point.

It's right up against the road on one side... Would be a major job to extend it further back.

Yeah, it's very difficult. However, the council announced a while back a desire to narrow Walton Breck Road at that point and eventually pedestrianise it. Never say never on a Kop expansion.

But it looks like increasing capacity in the Main stand and Anny Rd stand will be it for a few years. Even the council surely cant be thinking of more streets on the Dalglish stand side like Skerries St getting demolished for them.

Nope it's done less work than Delph and Gbamin combined over the last 5 days. Not sure why the inaction as it's been relatively calm on the river
