Anfield is going to be a strange layout: the recognised home end is going to be dwarfed by the other stands....unless they're looking to expand the Kop at some point.

Understood..….where the river historically came up to. All of those buildings around the Strand and beyond were built where the river once was, so this reclaiming of the dock water is something that been happening for a long time.

Goidison always had a considerably larger capacity than Analfield, for many years their capacity was 52,000 whilst ours was 64,000. I was often in Godison with 66,000. You have to remember that Goodison Rd. was an absolutely colossal terrace before the new main stand was built.Is it true the top 20 highest attendances ever on Merseyside have all been Everton games?
