I’d love that, but I think at 52,000 we’d be 4th in line for a venue in the North West. It’d be the newly refurbished Old Trafford and Anfield.Should be prominent amongst the venues for Euro 2028 hopefully.

No.Is that a question?
Can you post the link….
Limited upside in that tbh.I’d love that, but I think at 52,000 we’d be 4th in line for a venue in the North West. It’d be the newly refurbished Old Trafford and Anfield.

They said a few years ago when the first images were released that the capacity could be increased to 60k in the future. Never heard any more about how or if this is still possible. Was hoping there would be details on the stadium website - which they said they were putting “the finishing touches” to in December ?52k is a joke

Yes probably for now it is. But it doesn't show much ambition if it can never expand beyond that tomoI think 52K is ideal personally.

52 is crap. It’s the the 7th largest in the league. We should have went for 58 at the minimum.I think 52K is ideal personally.
I think the guys who did their due diligence on this must have come to the conclusion that we wouldn't fill 58. I think not being one of the super 6 and not being in London are factors involved.52 is crap. It’s the the 7th largest in the league. We should have went for 58 at the minimum.
I just think bigger doesn’t always mean better, and who cares what other grounds hold. Would rather have 50K evertonians than 50+10K tourists.I think the guys who did their due diligence on this must have come to the conclusion that we wouldn't fill 58. Look at City for example they are arguably the best team in the world and they just can't fill seats still. I still find it strange how wherever you go in the country you see Liverpool and man utd fans in all generations. Even arsenal and Chelsea, but youngsters just don't seem to want to take to being City fans.
Maybe that's something they had in mind that even if we ever did become a top team on the pitch we still wouldn't become a hugely followed club.
