The main contracts have been signed. Laings aren’t stupid, they wouldn’t have signed it if there wasn’t finance in place from a reputable source. So I wouldn’t be worrying about that.
Pretty clear by now the owner is carrying it, maybe with some well stashed funds loosley connected to his best mate.
As others have said, Laings are more professional than the execs at Everton (hard to believe, I know!), no way they progress so much without cast iron guarantees.
