This is the thing. West Ham also ripe for a sale. Had Liverpool won the Commonwealth Games bid it would have been a different story. Newcastle had a ready made stadium at BMD capacity and were sold last year with healthy financial accounts.

The finances appear too much of a mess/dodgy for someone to want to take on.
