New Everton Stadium

New stadium location. Will it be in the docklands, or Croxteth?
New stadium design. Will it be iconic, or a bit ordinary?
Will we be playing in a 45,000 stadium, a 50,000 stadium or a 55,000 stadium? Will there be room to expand?
Who will Everton's manager be? Could we potentially have one of Europe's top managers on the sideline?
How much money will we actually have to spend on players?
Will Moshiri attract other investors to bring even more financial clout to the club?
Will the potential new era persuade Stones and potentially Lukaku to stay? (unlikely with Lukaku)

How the hell are we supposed to concentrate on work when there are so many unknowns? Its exciting times, but I'm not sure I have the patience to wait for the answers to be revealed.
Find a woman mate. That will help.

With respect, £100 million for a ten-year deal is (imo) out of the question.
A more realistic and achievable figure would be £3-5 million a year tops...

Yeah sounds about right for a deal with Chang £100m over 30 years for the naming rights....

I think based on some of the deals done for other stadium names £10m per year doesn't sound that wild actually. You have to think, it's not just written on the side of the stadium, it's the name of the stadium every time it's mentioned in the media; newspapers, TV, Radio and online all around the world. Not to mention by the fans.

Tom Cannon mentions Airlines as being the type of companies that go in for this type of sponsor, I could go with that, it's a shame that Liverpool Airport don't really have any prestige brands flying from it, "the EasyJet Stadium" or "The RyanAir Arena", don't exactly sound great. But who cares as long as they are paying the bill....

Arsenal don't get anything like £10m a year mate and they've already got a shiny, gin-palace of a stadium and a big name client on board.

Arsenal got £30m a year for 5 years from Emirates to sponsor the shirt and stadium. £150m in total. It says so on their website, link below. As we get about £5m a year now from Chang to sponsor the shirts, however you cut it, if someone wants to give us £30m a year to sponsor the shirt and stadium, it's an improvement on what we get now.

Tom Cannon is a WUM. Talks utter [Poor language removed]. Always has. Always will. £25-30m for a 10 year deal for a top quality, well located PL stadium with use for meetings, conferences etc. is about achievable in the current market and in line with the better deals. You can do a bit better with a combined shirt/stadium sponsorship.

I'm not convinced even United or the [Poor language removed] could get near £100m and their stadia are world famous, like it or not. Of course it only needs one sucker to pay above the odds and perhaps Moshiri could get a mates rated deal from a well-heeled Russian or Middle Eastern business but £100m is a pipe dream.

Apologies, I'd been looking at something else where Arsenal were concerned.

The obvious thing for me (with my very limited understanding of big business!) would be to let Peel have the naming rights for the stadium in exchange for a heavy discount (how about....FREE!?) on the land!

The Cunard Stadium?

Historical links to the city, if on the docks it will be right next to the new cruise liner terminal where they'll be re-opening their transatlantic cruises from.

A riverside location is something the others haven't got,has to be worth a few bonus points.
Closest I can think of currently is the San Mamés in Bilbao, although the river is nowhere near as wide as the Mersey at that point.

As long as no one calls it the riverside......

Would be great to call it New Goodison or the Howard Kendall Stadium but sadly money talks and we'll probably end up in the Gazprom arena.

Ya know it has to he done in most cases but hate those sponsored names on stadiums.changing the name every few years makes it hard to call it home.welcome to gazprom arena.sorry mate we were called that 3 years ago now we are mcdonalds park but talks already begun and in 4 years time we will be greggs field.
