New Everton Stadium

Couldn't tell you. So are you saying we have got the number bang on ? We couldn't of gone any bigger ? We won't generate new supporters? You part of the board ?

To say we haven't got another 10,000 fans is silly. I genuinely think we could of gone bigger.
I think when the new ground opens, capacity will be a few thousand higher than currently suggested. After a few years, safe standing will add a few thousand more, bringing us up to about 60,000. Ideal for us. The location and facilities will mean we'll have the best football ground in the country. I'm all in, as they say.

Spurs' place is and will be by far the best ground in the country for years to come. Ours will be great though.

Why will it?

The location of ours is far better for a start and will be 5 years more advanced.

I think ours will be just as good, if not better. The capacity doesn't mean much otherwise West Ham's ground would be considered up there and it's one of the worst football stadiums in the country.

Ours will still not be as advanced as Spurs, given the amount of technology involved with theirs. The fit and finish is also very much top notch and likely to be several steps above ours - if that thing appeals to people. I think once the rest of the Liverpool Waters development has been finished then I agree we will have the better location.

You can't really bring in capacity and then give WHAM as an example because Spurs have the capacity AND a proper bowl arrangement. In the end these things are subjective and we are obviously going to be biased but they are ahead with a lot of metrics people judge a stadium by. I do believe ours has the more interesting exterior, but they have the better interior (both concourses and bowl).

I just think theirs is amazing. The sheer scale of it, the single tier stand, the facilities, the money it generates outside of football, how aesthetically pleasing it is. If ours is 75% as impressive as theirs I'll be blown away with jubilation, I'll tell you that.

Just a feeling. Everything about the project seems so well managed, I think they might just have a bit of a surprise up their sleeve when the count comes in and it might go some way to placate those who said we needed 60,000. Interesting to hear the recent podcast with Dan Meis refer to the capacity as 55,000, not once but twice.

Yes new stadium will be great.

You’ve been called out with alleged supporting evidence in The NEW Arena as a banned multi and not yet responded friend.

I think the huge fan zone at our new ground will be a big factor. Just off the Dock Road, behind the dock wall. It will make our new stadium fairly unique.
