New Everton Stadium

To be fair, they said it is hard to visualise, and I can understand that with all the clutter on the playing area, even Mr.Drone was struggling for perspective.

According to Google the pitch must be at least 105m. long. If we assume that the rakers on the side stands are at 10m. centres - which seems reasonable to me - then you already have 110m. before you add on the straight sections of the North and South stands, which might give you an extra 10-20 m.

Mate it’s not fair to idiots

There is no way anyone will build a football stadium where a football pitch wouldn’t fit no way.

Those that did either are mischievous bells, kopites or attention seeking idiots as there is now way a pitch wouldn’t fit.

In fact the pitch is going to be UEFA and FIFA recommended size and that’s why this ground was chosen over the toilet (Analfield) to host any games because the pitch is bigger.

So no nothing fair to it.

I don't think that will be there.

As others have said, the renders with the text on are of an older version of the design.

The most recent renders with writing, as used on the video on the new stadium Web site, have the present branding typeface:

Personally, I hope we don't see that, either.

I think we ought to have the confidence in our own identity not to do that.

School of science ?

Not sure that would fit tbh and would clutter it.

How about the badge ?

Harsh but true. I rescind my sentimental even-handedness.

That Everton font is absolutely awful on them designs. As someone said a few posts back - something like the GOODISON on top of the Park End currently is far classier.

While that is much better (and I always prefer 'Everton FC' or 'Everton Football Club' as opposed to the official brand 'Everton' because it's a properly confident sports team name), I agree that it doesn't need it at all.

Quite agree.

Some of Everton's branding is Everton but some of it should retain the formal Everton Football Club.

On this south window though, I think it's most likely going to be the stadium sponsor. I'd love those neon blue letters from the Park End around the stadium though

What does everyone think about the yellow railings?

This rendering is the first and only place I think I've seen those. I wonder if that is still the plan, or if they'll be blue / white?

It gives the whole thing a big Park End vibe for me - but I don't think that's a bad thing.

!f they are going to have anything, I'd prefer Nil Satis Nisi Optimum that would look great in stainless steel lettering. In my view anyway.

May not be as obvious once the stadium is full in any case, looks fine to me.

What is obvious from that rendering is the width of each step. From a safe standing perspective, in time, this has clearly been designed with increased capacity in mind.

Looks awful. The first one looks much better than that

Would be better if it was gold, maybe it is.

I’m thinking that pitch won’t fit, but also that it will be a thing of beauty

Think its a H&S thing with regards to visibility of the safety rails.
