But they have selected, or rather the UK has put forward, The Aviva, The Etihad, and The Principality. (I assume The Principality is after the building society. It may not be).

Correct, they don't allow the stadiums to be sponsored presumably because that takes away from all their sponsors of the tournament...

They do. Did it with the Allianz in Germany. The Pampers Stadium will revert to Bramley Moore.

Not really, it was selected ahead of Anfield but it wasn't in competition with the others as they wanted to have a stadium in each major city

Their shed can't host major matches because of the size of the pitch - it's below the minimum requirement to host UEFA fixtures that aren't RS home games.
