Looks like Bidston Hill to me, but definitely the 'other' side.

That's 3 miles from BMD, and nearly 5 miles from Goodison if so.

52k is fine, not sure why some keep going on about expansion, we’re hardly going to win anything in the next couple of years and with our ageing fan base, demand isn’t going to increase that much

From what I understand, the seats aren’t locked up in safe standing areas in England, so there would be no physical setting required to be made to the seats that are going in.

Then it just comes down to whether stewards make people sit down or not, I suppose, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the lower South Stand is de facto safe standing from the off.

The feature of the build that's looking amazing is the roof. People will talk about it's beauty for years to come.

Does anyone know why it's covered in plastic at one end though?

I love how perforations let light through, it'll look fantastic at night. Translucent parts of stadiums don't age well usually (the bits of Wembley look quite yellow now) but I expect due to the use of aluminium it'll look as good as on day one for all time

Havent watched any of these for a few weeks, probably since the season ended. I'm stunned by the progress. The water tower looks brilliant. Its gonna be a gorgeous stadium when complete.

I believe they are doing layers of insulation to keep noise in and are up to a plastic cover stage, there should be another layer over the top of it.
