Despite his many, many failings and complete lack of leadership, Moshiri has played an absolute blinder with the stadium.
Before I was saying - just get it start ffsIt could always be worse.
'World's greatest football stadium' with 80,000 seats is half-built 16 years on
The Mestalla has been home to Spanish side Valencia since 1923 and plans have long been in place to build a new stadium in the city but there are still no signs of the club moving any time soonwww.mirror.co.uk
Butterfly bushes... think of the environment.Would someone get rid of the weeds sprouting out of the gate pillars?
I've always hated the curved/bumpy/frilly design at the top of the seating bowl in the New Mestalla. Looks rubbish. Before I was saying - just get it start ffs
Now it's - just get the 'kin thing finished
Not ashamed to admit it - excited and emotional. Apologies if already shared.
I’m Gonna be an absolute mess leaving Goodison, but the new ground looks bloody beautiful.
Yeah. Jackson did nothing for this part of the world regards public transport which, considering she is from Birkenhead, is a shame. Leeds got shafted over the trams even worse, as all their money went to Edinburgh because that's where Alistair Darling had his constituency.Merseytravel was shafted by the then Labour Government if I recall. Given encouragement for the bids, initially allocated funding. Merseytravel then undertook some enabling works to combine with other works going on (to try to optimise on costs) only to have the Government pull the rug from underneath them. I was at an event in London when the late Glenda Jackson (then a transport minister) was in attendance and took the opportunity to speak to the Merseytravel DG who was also there - what he said would be unpublishable on a family site like this - suffice to say he was less enamoured by her performance in Government than in Elizabeth....
