Popped down before the match yesterday for the first time since August.

It’s ridiculous, isn’t it? Just massive. Kept looking back at it in my wing mirror as I drove up Boundary Street and it just didn’t seem to be shrinking.

I can’t wait to see the roof finished. It’s going to look absolutely amazing, looming over the dock wall.

Went into Liverpool on the train yesterday from Southport.
Amazing the amount of people commenting and straining to get a look once you pass Sandhills station.
Must really boil the pee of your average RS commuter seeing that view twice a day every day lol lol lol

Looks like it won't stop exterior work wither as they're still ploughing on with the roof covering!

Does anyone know if the stadium barrel section of the roof will glow blue like the Allianz in Munich ? (I know that lights up red)

Is that even possible with the existing design ?

Im sure they would be able to add lighting in future if they've not already prepped to do so.

That's a great idea. I'd love the Liver Building to be lit up in blue for night games when we're at home. That would be wonderful.

It's already started. The internal spaces are, in the mainstay, water-tight as and where required. The wiring is going in, and they've already started with fittings.

Examples are the hydro pool, changing rooms and whatnot.
