Any word on a ferry? Even just the short ride from town. Would love to bring my kid by boat up the mersey to a game.

Yes because parking around GP is relatively straightforward compared to the extent of the restrictions that will be in place around BMD. Some people have no option but to travel by car for a multitude of reasons.

Its straight forward if you park in overpriced carparks, anywhere near the ground you need a residents parking permit

I can envisage a fleet of small craft going back and too through the dock system from Princess dock (by Crown plaza) to Bmd.
It'll be like Dunkirk every other week, and the revamped Liverpool Duck (ex landing craft)
