Yes, it would have been significantly different. And bear in mind the 53k build has almost crippled us financially.

But we haven't got new backing yet, have we? The fact is we've struggled and had to get high interest loans to keep us going day to day and to help pay for a 53k stadium. We couldn't afford 60k.
We should have gone for broke, it was always going to be covered one way or another. The money in the EPL is obscene.
We ate not going to go to the wall even if the current deal falls through, we have too many suitors.

Seriously it looks magnificent there and should look even better when fully completed.
Not sure how we can maximise the appeal to a wider audience but surely some smart-ass marketing people can help with that.
It has to become more than just a nice stadium and an asset for us. Make it a place where people want to see and experience.
I have to disagree.
Whilst I want to maximise the finances from it, I personally think the stadium should be all about Everton football club. Not somewhere people want to have an experience.
I can’t believe it’s getting stick from some fans, I think it looks incredible.
As a season ticket holder of over 25 years (haven’t seen us win a tap) I personally can’t wait to leave Goodison, the place has become a morgue.
