Really wasn’t bothered about it, and thought it might look fussy when the plans and renders were first shown, but starting to really miss the Leitch design. Was going to be a real feature.

Struggling to work out how they’ve got that so badly badly wrong when the panels of half bricks where made off site.

Are they going to slap some Creasote on it?

Should be fairly early to remedy if they wanted to, as you suggest just staining the bricks would do it. They may choose not to now though. Personally I think it looks fine without it and there are Archibald Leich references elsewhere anyway.

I've been past the Fan Zone at GP but never been in it. When you look how small it is compared to the new one, it's ridiculous. I can't wait.

If you think about it though, the South, North and West stands are under cover.

had a quick fly around as I was in the area

note how wet the first few rows of seats in the south stand are with the rain, the cladding on the south stand east side nearly complete and the decking well underway near the waterway

There’ll be plenty of shelter outside the ground - 3 of the 4 stands have covered walkways - but yes, the one that doesn’t is the side where people will be hanging out in the fanzone.

I reckon that’s something that will come in time. I think it deserves some proper, unhurried thought.
