New Everton Stadium

I remember at Arsenal away they have clear divider walls which could be removed. I'd hope that's the case here.

If there's a chance of making more money and selling more tickets, they'll find a way I've no doubt at all.

Just by looking at the navigation around the West Stand, how many corporate facilities there is and that it's already sold out, it's going to take in the dollar I've no doubt at all.

It's a stadium for sure, but the corporate side is going to blow people away 100%

Stadium design is so interesting. Hardly anybody enters into the stand that they are sitting in from the videos we have seen so far. People sitting in the North stand enters from the east and west, and a lot of the west stand enter from the south stand. Hopefully a lot of signage or there will be a lot of lost Everton Da's on that first match day at BMD 🤣

You'd have to be an absolute melon to not be able to follow clear signage.

Similar to when people couldn't comprehend that people they go the match with for a season or two should get priority over those who've been going for decades.

I wouldn't even think about it mate, think about how they'd increase the away allocations for the cup ties etc.

It'll all be sorted.

i seen a prayer room in the east stand!

wahooooooo

Hey Matty, what happened mate? You used to make posts like this...

New manager who would need another how many years and how many windows? People tend to forget this, listen I’m as frustrated as anyone after a defeat, and the away form is a concern but can we just give him some more time? Ffs.

Just received the below, must be trying to raise some funds for January transfer window

I wouldn't be surprised if level 02 has slide out/temporary walls or barriers to separate the away fans in roughly these areas (red) when their allocation is increased for cup games.

I'm guessing just normal scanners. Might have to put in your unique code also.
They look very similar to ones I’ve installed previously, however it does seem a slightly odd choice for stadium access control for corporate if they are facial recognition.
Reason I think they are, is they appear to have a camera on them and the screens (for facial recognition) look similar to those ones, so you can see your kisser on them and fit it in the wire grid overlay.
Plus it’s all angled up to head height.

QR / Barcode or NFC scanners don’t need all that config, if they just want to record who’s coming through, the regular CCTV can do that job and be cross referenced to a swipe time on the turnstiles for any investigation.
If they are just scanners they seem very over engineered.

Yep good shout that mate. That'll come in handy for FA Cup games and the increase in away allocation.

I'm sure they'll have something sorted for when away teams don't take their full allocation as well, though might be a little trickier as the lower part is standing and then above the wheelchair access it's seating. I'm sure they'll find a way though.

There's a new basketball stadium in the US (intuit Dome) for the LA Clippers that uses facial recognition for all visitors so stadium entry and any purchases etc are done automatically.

Yeah access to the seats would be the main issue if an away side doesn't sell their full allocation on a regular game as level 01 is already cordoned off. It may be that they can be accessed via the stands though on level 00.

Was reading up after I saw them to see if I could find the panel (but couldn’t) and saw Man City are using it in some locations and I also saw a few US stadiums.
Ties in with the grab and go frictionless payment stuff they were advertising the other week I guess.
Still, my limited experience with it is that’s it not exactly flawless.
There’s a Sainsbury’s round the corner from my office (opposite their HQ) that operates like this and whenever I’ve used it it’s it been a pain in the backside.
