New Everton Stadium

My best mate is a spurs fan, I asked him whether it's quick to get a pint at half time, he said "no despite it having about 7000 bars"...let's hope BMD is better 😀

It should be easier than at present, but they won’t make it perfect, otherwise, why would anyone pay excessive prices for corporate? Didn't think that it was particularly fast/easy at Spurs when I went, but perhaps that's just for the away section.

I think it will depend on where you sit as well, like it probably does now, and it will be quicker than in most circumstances than the current setup.

Without having any actual figures in front of me (all anecdotal), I suspect a higher % of the Lower Street End have a beer at HT than the Main Stand, for example.

This will impact on queues. Right now, we have to go down between 35 and 37 minutes to ensure we get the round in and have time to drink it and chat.

@GrandOldTeam mentioned a figure of 2161 when details were released, haven’t seen it stated anywhere else though

Fair play to you for travelling so far to watch the team, I barely make it to the end of a dodgy stream these days.

Haha, cheers though!

I must be mad. It’s definitely been harder last few seasons.

Always horrible when we’ve been awful & I know I won’t get home until gone midnight.

Had some terrible journeys home.

Another reason why I can’t stick Dyche ball. A long way to travel to watch the current tripe he’s churning out.

On the desktop version it does show row (and I think seat?) numbering when you click on the sample areas within a block.

But the club will be releasing a more detailed version of the app anyway before tickets go on sale, which will allow you to select every individual seat so you can check out that specific seat view.
Thanks for the info 👍

I do think that's where we will likely end up, yet I do like the look of the north too. The issue is we stand all game - it's all my son has ever known as a ST holder.

To go somewhere where we'd be expected to sit, even most of the time, would feel quite alien.

Go North Lower, that has been earmarked for Standing in future. By that point your lad might be old enough.

The name was arrived it in mins. No greater thought was given to it than that reslly. I don't remember any divide on it at all... we certainly weren't inundated with protests by Kirkby Evertonians, nor was it evident on any forums, far from it in fact.

Kirkby wasn't and still isn't in the city, so it was entirely factual and therefore by definition, not at all sensationalist or propagandist which implies a lie. There was a real potential threat to perception and identity and resultant marginalisation with any move to the peripheries, inside or beyond the city borders.... but the real issues were that the project was fundamentally flawed on multiple levels and that the whole motivation and process was entirely corrupt. All long since proven.

I can certainly recall you're intentions being questioned regularly (didn't yous have to disclose what you did for a living etc?), especially when the Bestway site was pushed as an alternative and when a lot of businesses around Goodison backed the campaign. This very forum was full of it.

While I fully accept it was a catchy name given without much thought, it certainly created a division whether intentional or not. It was propaganda as a slogan as it came across as bias that media outlets ran with.

And that wasn't all Kenwright despite his grubby mitts as he was getting hammered in AGMs about moving out of the city boarder would kill the soul of the club.

History is history though, same with perception.
