Assuming this video is recent and not from the last time the volume of water is unlikely to be weather ingress (a leak) or a roof coverage issue, at least not primarily. More likely it is still a failure in the syphonic drainage system. The question will be whether it is an installation issue (should be fixable relatively easily) or a design flaw (miscalculation of capacity/peak flows etc.) which might require a more significant retro-fit. We do have time to get it right but it could delay LOR handover and at the very least be on them to fix.

We were on the Mersey coast this afternoon and rain was biblical mate.

Ok I am on the North Wales coast but very close across the Dee and Mersey to Bramley Moore Dock and the rain has been incredibly heavy this afternoon.

It wasn't about being fixed etc, yet rather the previous issue was that the rain capture system hadn't been connected to the tanks, so they overflowed.

It was not a worry for Laing. This may be another issue, but I do know that in some terrible conditions water can get into the concourse due to the outer cladding.

Bout time they plumbed in the drains! Hopefully that excess water has a place to drain out from the concourse without causing damage to decorated areas.
