Let's hope as this one and only happy Everton thread comes to an end.A new one opens after the takeover. The site looks so much better already. Can't believe we are now counting down days to handover, 3/4 years ago it was a pool of water and we were wishing our lives away to see when we'd first get a glimpse when the dock was full of sand, or when the first steelwork was added, the first concrete terracing, the roof, the grass and so on.
Of course stuff will still be evolving on site over the next 4 or so months, however let's celebrate on Friday to the max our magnificent new home. This is not an everyday event.
It's been a pleasure sharing the progress on here with you all. To those that saw the start of the build but are no longer with us at the end, I hope they are able to look down and be as proud as us.
Bit pointless granted a warship freedom of the city, when it can’t even get up Matthew street isn’t it.
I can guarantee you that’s not true.Load of Kopites it was crewed by...from Devenport and Portsmouth.
Not a Scouser on board.
I can guarantee you that’s not true.
Yeah but could they get to the Lisbon?Bit pointless granted a warship freedom of the city, when it can’t even get up Matthew street isn’t it.
Does anyone know how far along the interior fit is?The site looks so much better already. I can only think that planning permission wont allow it to be lit up like the Allianz!!Went down there before, can't believe the size of it now that the roof is finished, it's very imposing.
100% though they need to have some kind of internal lighting shining through the whole of the roof as its just too spectacular to waste and leave it where so much of it is dark.
I thought this the other day. I cant believe how quickly its gone!!The site looks so much better already. Some people just don't want adult DVD shops in their village I guess mateI can only think that planning permission wont allow it to be lit up like the Allianz!!
I had to apply for planning permission to have an illuminated shop sign for one of my old businesses.. Nearly got that denied too! Joke it is..
