New Everton Stadium

View attachment 286526

generic bowl apparently.

I've always disputed it's a bowl at all tbh. Now I know that 'bowl' is the industry term for our seating lay out, but for me, a bowl has always been a stadium with curved stands that take some people further away from the pitch, losing the intimacy of stadiums that have straight edges, for want of a better term. There's not a curve in sight other than the roof.

You can actually start to see the Leitch design in the brick work in some of these ground shots. It really popped out to me during this clip. It's subtle, but it's most definitely there

How come they aren't planning any concerts and the like yet? Surely for the summer they'd be well on the way to doing this?

I don't think we are aiming for anything else other than an Everton game being the first event.

Given the chaos at the co-op I can't blame them either. We won't sue ourselves if things don't go well... :hayee:

Hopefully they have already got the summer concerts in 2026 lined up.

Anyone got an email regarding the waiting list? I was 3500/4000 and not guranteed a ticket. I think they've changed the criteria since that position is no longer mentioned and solely ranked on total number of purchased memberships (5+ )and no mention of date joining the waiting list.

Let's hope as this one and only happy Everton thread comes to an end.A new one opens after the takeover.
No chance Marnie, GOT doesn’t do happy, if GOT could be pictured as a single character it would be Col Bill Kilgore from Apocalypse Now. i can just picture GOT standing straight, peering across the battlefield that is this forum and saying “You smell that? Do you smell that? Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell — you know that gasoline smell — the whole hill smelled like victory. Someday this war's gonna end”.
