New Everton Stadium

As long as that person has a customer number and you have them attached to yours in the family and friends section, you should be able to transfer it that way.
Not so straightforward. The recipient of a digital transfer also not only has to be linked to your account but also be an EFC member as well. I tried to digitally transfer my ticket to the person who sits next to me so he could bring a friemd to a game I could not attend (this was earlier this season). We are linked on the friends and family on the ticket site. I could not transfer my ticket and kept getting a message “the recipient is not authorised to receive this ticket” confused, i phoned the ticket office next day, gave all the details and they told me EFC had introduced a policy that tickets can only be digitally transferred to others who are also official EFC members in order to keep it fair for non ST holders looking to pick up any tickets that may become available. So even if you have a mate you want to transfer a ticket to it is only possible if they are also EFC members. The way around is to let them have your physical ST card for the game, if you have one

I'm not blaming Meis for the lighting.
So why bring him into it here 🤷‍♂️

Good to know. As physical cards won't be a thing at the new stadium (so they say), then you would need a burner phone to load the ticket on to or buy memberships for the family and friends that you think will have your tickets on the occasion you can't go.

Yep i still like the option to have the physical card for exactly the purpose of letting someone have the card if I can’t make the game and there are plenty of takers. On this occasion we tried to transfer digitally and only when I called the club ticket office and queried why it keep getting rejected is when I was informed that not only do you need to be linked as friends and family but also the person you are transferring to also needs to have EFC membership. In other words more expense to fork out on top of a ST. I was a bit miffed as he couldn’t take his mate but I kind of get why they’ve done it.

Of course the other thing that will have to be considered, is that the stadium will never actually be completely ‘done’.

If you look closely every stadium in the football league undergoes cosmetic or structural changes from minor to grand scale all the time, that could be everything from a lick of paint to a stand expansion.

With that in mind I’m trying not to let minor things like the current exterior lighting effect what is a grand feet of football stadia engineering.

Most new build stadia will be built with modifications, expansions ect. in mind, especially in a cost effective, efficient way. I’m sure, and it looks that way, that Brantley Moore has that factored into its design. The stadium is still a canvas, even after it’s completion.

I’m sure it will look a lot different again in places after the handover.

Allianz arena lighting is a contract with Phillips. (Yes I looked it up) Maybe in the future Everton may go for something that would give the same fully diffused visual exterior effects. As the years roll on there will always be things changing.

Yeah, I'm a plastic card holder. Somehow, I think we will have seen the back of them at the new place. Might be difficult to give someone your ticket, short of giving them your phone. We shall see.

You add them as a friend on your account and simply send it to them using the ticketing site. They accept the email, and download the ticket to their phones wallet. Really, really simple.

This is already in place BTW.

Feel you're getting a bit of unfair stick here tbh Dave. I love how it looks in the main, but there's small details that bother me. The fact you can see through a bit of the roof when the lights are on annoys me a bit, and the lighting isn't great, though I'm sure it will at least be adjusted.

Overall I'm more than happy with it though, and I know that the small things that bother me won't bother others. I'd never be bothered if somebody said they didn't like how it looks though. How could I be? It's entirely subjective and you're never gonna please everybody with something like this. ;)
Goes to show you. I love the fact that you can see through the roof with the lights on. As always, there's no right or wrong, just down to preferences really.

Even it's name changes regularly.

anyone know how much credit per game you get in the club view seats. Iv sat on half way line of top balc for years so frustrating that seems like will need to pay more, you be worth it though depending on what you get back
You get a 10 quid food/drink voucher per game, plus a match programme. So basically your getting 200 quids worth, which theoretically makes the costs of club view, a grand.

Looks like is true but is bs cant imagine my dad being happy using it should be a choice for fans being able to choose from a digital or physical card https://www.premierleague.com/news/4071456

I feel dirty but i get that. Ive drove past a few times and thought its not smacking Everton at me in the face.
It’s a little gripe that wont spoil it for me. But if it’s ever mentioned i sort of just of just say to myself i can see that pov.
I understand what you are saying. For me, there is something about it making a statement about a new, different Everton for the future. Personally I think it achieves that, but I don’t know if it will be in the running for any architectural prizes
