I have honestly learned more from Toms posts than most others on this thread., very informative. Also as a regular visitor to the BMD area for 25+ years i agree with the posters who question its access. Walton is far easier to get to from any direction. Love the new ground and resigned to the fact Goodison will soon be history, however we need to stick to the facts as i think a lot of fans do not know this area and its present state of accessibility which surely has to change sharpish.

Tom seriously, words on the internet are nothing. If you're that much of a stadium hero why didn't you work in any of the sectors that provide them?

Is this the school yard? Stadium hero? Seriously? I have worked in that sector and have had other opportunities to. However, I could earn far more in Marine/Oil and Gas Engineering as I could ever earn even in construction management, so that's where I went.

It’s right by Sandhills train station. You can get a train from Central, or Moorefields right there in 5 minutes.

it's not right by Sandhills station at all. It's not too far, I grant you. What if you don't live anywhere near a train station at the other end? How many people can Sandhills shift in a short timeframe before and after a game? We have to hope that there are extra trains laid on, as there were yesterday for the meeting at Aintree and the other crowd at home last night. That's all I'm saying.

Erm not quite. I just happen to know people who have been working on the stadium and they're quite frankly embarrassed by people who act like they know everything (even though they decided to work in oil)

Also it's no surprise the front rows will get wetter than they do at goodison, it's a small compromise to make. A roof that is twice as high would have to come out way past where our front roof line is now to offer the same protection, it like standing under a brolly you are dry, lift it up another 6ft the rain is gonna drive in and get you wetter.

You're getting anxious over nothing my friend. It will be much easier to get to than goodison as it's not surrounded by terraced housing.

Nothing changed it's an improvement. If it bothers you that much and you can't get a cab just don't go.

Explain to me how the area is currently easier to get to now than Goodison Park? I am confident the problems getting to and from can be resolved with a robust transport plan. I am anxious to see what is proposed, that's all.

I post in my name and do not feel the need to hide behind any pseudonyms, nor partake in childish name-calling. I'd appreciate it if you did the same or at least tried to stick to the points being made.

Experts told us Kirkby would be the most accessible stadium in the country, need I say anymore? Meanwhile, plenty of people have posted images of rows of soaked seating deep into the stands, and you refuse to see it..... now that must be truly "exhausting".
