Business associates to partner the funding in my mind are different from sponsorship naming rights, which will be a source of annual income post-completion.

I don't know but I would very much doubt it and he would certainly have avenues of capital funding open to him from his wider business links. The sponsorship naming rights will come later and allow him to increase the revenue stream of the club, thus providing a means of repaying the debt on the capital borrowed.

One thing for sure he can't leverage the debt against the club - his open letter about Arsenal loading the debt onto the club for the new stadium and how strongly he opposed it is out there and would be used to crucify him should he attempt similar, so very confident we wil get the stadium without becoming indebted due to it
