New Everton Stadium

Yeah, it was the east and west stands were 3 tiers which was the original 60k design.
I've worked out that you'd need around 8 extra rows of seating in the North, South, East and West stands to reach around 62.5k (probably slight more than this as the bowl gets wider as you go up).
I duplicated East for the calculation as whilst the West stand has a lower capacity due to larger seats etc it is the same size and this assumption is that the extra seats would be General Admission.
The North Stand is a bit unique as it includes the corners so its rows height varies relative to the other stands. however if you discount it then that is close to the original 60k capacity so gives you an idea of how big/high the 60k stadium plan would have been.

@Tom Hughes

I've been critical before of the height of the roof from the last row of seats. However I noticed that the last row of seats don't connect to the roof and there's a gap.

Could it be possible that Everton may plan to add x no. of rows to the back of the stand and have left that gap and distance so that they don't have to disturb the roof
when doing so?

Interesting comments about the food prices, not allowing food into the stadium and bags searched etc.

For comparison (as we are gonna have gigs here), I recently went to the Co-Op Live in Manchester: bags were ruthlessly searched at the entrance and all food & drink confiscated.

The cost inside was exorbitant: 2 hotdogs cost £28 !! And a can of soft drink almost £4!

Looks like this is the way things are going.

I would doubt that very much. A feature of many stadiums, certainly 'enclosed bowls' is the allowance of airflow. Old Trafford used to suffer terribly with their ability to grow grass and much of this wa attributed to the lack of air movement across the pitch. When CoMS was built, they installed large louvre across the roofline to allow them to open it up on non-matchdays for air movement.

Still a lot of concrete and steel on show in the stands, really need to see what will be the branding package inside the ground to soften up the look.

The club needs to let's the fans put there signature around the ground with banners, flags etc to give us the 13th man identity.

Agreed.

If the club aren’t going to add any Everton related branding inside the stadium, I think the fans should be given a chance to contribute - I’m sure they’d do a good job.
