New Everton Stadium

You're in there for 2 hours, maybe a little bit longer. I reckon people could just about scrape through to get to the final whistle without food.

If you cant afford it, don't buy it. They'll soon review their price point if their sales reduce by a percentage over the year.
It's also about carrying on some traditions and old practices from the old stadium to the new. That sterile format of searching people for food 50 yards from the stadium is not exactly encouraging the Evertonisation of the new stadium.

It's petty and it's designed to squeeze every penny out of people already heavily committed financially to the club.

Went to Lords or maybe it was The Oval 15 years ago and they were confiscating all food and drink at the gates. It's something the caterers insist on.

I went to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin for the FAI Cup Final a couple of years ago. Had a bag of cans on me. The steward told me to stop, and told me I had to take the lid off the water bottle.

'What about the cans?'

'Ah you're grand.'

Swerved all but "Everton supporters only" locked social media feeds about the new stadium. Tiresome reading RS meffs who never attend games piping up with "dere's gonna be a desaster on dat bridge....Everton to blame....costin' de citee milllens...don't see nonna dat at Anfield..."

"The way I see Liverpool page" is full of them. Boycott 'em, blues.

No test events for 3 months now so shut down for the work that needs to be done. Plenty to be done and it will be. Don't despair over trivialities all will be sorted.
Am pretty sure the stadium “trivialities” will be sorted by the club.

The transport issues I don’t believe are trivialities and I don’t have any confidence that LCC will fix them in the time available.

Got no idea how you can be so sure Andy, it will be marginal. It might be fine, it might be fine some of the time, it might be blocked all the time. The only way to find out is to sit there and see with your own eyes.

Of course if that bloke standing there is 6'7" then that changes it a bit as that line would start lower down, but that's why I'm NOT saying it will definitely be blocked. We wait to see.

I've also maintained all long I don't see this as a restricted view even if the corner flag is not seen. It's a miniscule part of the pitch.

Isn't the actual definition of an obstructed view at Everton if the goal is partially blocked? Sure it was anyway.
