New Everton Stadium

Very random survey sent out by everton asking about banking services and airline services used. And whether them sponsering rival teams has an impact whether you use them.

Intresting choices of airlines aswel to choose from. Qatar, emirates, ethiad, japan and malaysia.

Hopefully something to do with stadium sposership?

The Bank of America Stadium.

Qatar Airways shirt sponsor.

It should be affordable as well, and they should allow someone in with some sweets or crisps and not treat them like they're a war criminal if they do.

It goes to a bigger issue for me: the change of the type of people who'll be supporting Everton from now on. I expect the season tickets to be sweated season after next. The profile of our fanbase - matchgoing - will change in the same way as the Liverpool one has. That'll be an enormous loss to our identity.
The fans of the other clubs with American owners have said the same for a while, trying to keep season tickets down for the day fans.
As soon as I seen hipster food for sale at the game I knew things were changing.

I said when they tipped up: they'll be hated within a couple of years - associated with spiralling attendance costs and providing next to zero investment on the pitch.

Have they treated fans like that at the test events?

Also, it’s test events, actual procedures around it may be different on real match days when there’s 50k people to manage.

….no, I think the analogy with them is a bit of a stretch.

They have lost their local identity because they are global media darlings. They play in the City, they don’t belong in the City. The problem with that model is it’s fickle because it’s reliant on tourists and tourists don’t visit if the club is not fighting for titles or at the business end of cup competitions.

I find it hard to see us on that mantle. We have new owners, a new stadium and I’m sure prices will increase as will catering etc but I don’t see our fanbase changing, just look at the ST waiting list. It’ll be different going forward, expect change but I don’t see the soul of the club changing anytime soon.
