New Everton Stadium

2 massive acts announced at Anfield for next year in Billy Joel and Springsteen. I really hope we tried for either of them at BMD. If we didn’t then it’s not good enough from those in charge.
Too early for acts like that to have been booked for BMD, Springsteen negotiations have been over a few years by all accounts.

Summer 2026 should see a decent amount of events at Bramley moore

I'd imagine they would want to start getting test events & a couple of football games without problem done before they start looking to book concerts mate

We are due to get the stadium finished by the end of this year and to not even try to hold any events till August would be a bit of a wasted opportunity to start making money to start paying some of the loans off. The idea of the new stadium was to make more cash, not to leave it sitting there for 6 or 7 months not earning. I`d say as soon as we get the keys for it we get whatever events we can held there and have it making money right away.
Agree and the debacle at the Coop shows that you can't have too many test events

Doesn't matter as the club won't make any money from big gigs like that - the tour operators dictate everything and take all the profit. It's basically offering the stadium as a room for hire, for a flat fee. They're just a status symbol to get your stadium mentioned.

If clubs could really make money off stadium gigs, them bad hanks over the park wouldn't be doing a couple per year, they'd be running them six nights a week, every week. No shame.
According to reports, they made between £5m and £10m just on the 3 nights for Taylor Swift. Plus the 2 nights for Pink probably at a couple of million. This isn’t chump change, it’s money that our club needs.

There’s also not that many artists big enough that they could attract to fill the ground more than a few times a year. If they could, they would because there’s definitely money to be made.

Found this interesting, from The Athletic - though it tells an ambiguous story in and of itself.

It makes it look like we have parity with City - but of course the real-terms numbers they pull in are so much higher than ours.

20% looks like a sweet spot we should be aiming for - though this will mean more than doubling our current totals, as the sponsorship money from BMD will be significant and not count as matchday income.
