Was hoping a few of my personal favourites from the 95 team would get in on the stones - Joe Parkinson and Daniel Amokachi.

I personally don't think anybody should get into an Everton giants mural on the basis of being in one of the worst Everton teams ever that happened to win one domestic cup. The bar has to be much, much higher.

qualification as a giant should be based on their impact on the club or the fanbase. Basing it on the quality of their team mates or their lack of trophies would be grossly unfair? On that basis the likes of George Best would never make a greatest international team.

In that case there's even less reason for Unsworth to be up there. Nice guy, yes. Really nice guy who clearly loves Everton. Won FA Cup? Yes, alongside 15 other bang average / poor players. Apart from that he was a part of the jobs for the boys gang for about 2 decades, and that's it. It's like Liverpool having a Liverpool Way and putting Djimi Traore up there on account of him winning a Champions League.
