New Everton Stadium

Lads having to run a bus from a bar in the city centre to get to a home match.

Take a bow Mr Rotheram and Mr Johnson.
It's entrepreneurship, the savvy businesses will be looking how they can encourage blues to go to their pub and put on transport and also there will be loads of private car parks around the ground

If I was a local bus company I'd be looking at my options to run shuttle buses from town as well

This is quite good from Colin Chong , we are five years ahead of any competitor and are in talks with Peel about buying Nelson Dock and building something “complimentary “ to BMD…
Great news about Nelson Dock & Goodison towards the end of this article.

Yes me and my son 👍🏻

we had one before back in the last of the Moyes days for four years each, work commitments, shift work made me give it up last time and since I'm in my last year of work before I retire, we have tried again. Currently awaiting an operation for a hernia, hopefully it's done soon. Weird getting another season ticket and Moyes is back..

Makes sense any bus/ Coach company would make a killing.

Great news on Goodison Park.

10-15 years ore out of the place.

Believe he was from Den Bosch, so either Eindhoven (Charleroi at a stretch) Airport or indeed Amsterdam. It's do-able I guess, but not sure if I personally would be prepared for that hassle.

I'm someone who also lives the social side of football. For instance, for every home game of Fortuna over here, I'm arriving at the supportershome at least 2 hours for kick off (or visit one of the bars in the city centre for a pre match drink and a chat. After the game it's again our home for a post match drink and a chat. Always ending with a visit to the kebab shop with my mates.

When going to KRC Genk (between 5-10 times a season), it's the same principle. When visiting Everton I love hitting the pub early and go back in there post match. Absolutely love meet ups with the good folks of GOT.

Now, if every time I visited Everton I would have to hurry myself to get to and from the stadium on matchday, I'd rather watch the game on the telly. But that's of course each to their own. As said I personally love the social side of matchday at least as much, and probaly more than the game itself.
When I had a season ticket it became more of a get there for the match rather than get there long before KO time, and the same afterwards. When traveling from overseas you`re kind of restricted to what sort of flights are available. After a few seasons of having a ST a lot of lads I know started to really push it for time before the game, leaving at 11 o`clock for a flight to a 3 o`clock KO, and then getting back for a 7 o`clock flight home after. You made up for missing out on the pub before and after when a mid week game popped up. I prefer to travel early and have time to hang around before the game, but it becomes hard work at times when you do it for so long.
I`m without a ST now, so when I go 3 or 4 times a season I like to stop over and avoid the rushing about and having too much time to kill.

Very interesting read, thanks for posting.

Would love us to buy Nelson Dock - and Salisbury Dock with the docker's clock if we're getting greedy.

Love that line about money from gov should be going to Liverpool before anywhere else as it’s ready for it. Radcliffe trying to build something using tax payer money for the benefit if Utd is beyond an insult.

There are 3 bus services/routes running for the test event next week, 2 from town and 1 from Bootle.

You never know Dave;
There are heritage assets at Goodison Park that we’d like to reclaim and there are some parts that the local fan base would like to retain themselves.”
You might even be able to claim some of the Leitch trusses for yourself!
TBF, I wouldn't mind seeing them in a museum...where they belong.
