New Everton Stadium

Many accessibility issues remain, but the stadium itself takes your breath away. Felt a tiny bit emotional as I got up the stairs earlier and got my first look at it in the flesh.

What they've done down there is genuinely amazing. When I think back to all the near misses we've had down the years and the soulless holes we could have ended up in, and I look at where we've ended up, it's incredible.

It was choked slightly by Everton Way being fenced off too, not complete yet. Was worrying that they were wheeling disabled in opposition to the flow. But will all be ironed out in time, sure of it.
True but imo that won't help only 2 sets of double doors for people to exit stadium and getting through dock wall or the issues with the bridge..

But yeah hopefully all.sorted

Can't wait to see the "blue wall" in full voice on a match day where the result matters.
if we've got the right amount of noisy gits as season ticket holders in there, we'll be the talk of europe.
Half a Blue Wall.No way the Upper South will stand for more than a couple of minutes. Shame I moved seat second half to try out the back and it was decent, would have been good to be stood up there. The roof was a big distance as I thought which I don't understand.

Has anyone got a photo taken from the North West corner upper tier Block 245 Row 40 (its where my season ticket is), or somewhere close will do . Cheers Colin

Was at the back of the South stand on the first go. Standing up there just wouldn’t be safe. Oxygen and defibrillator’s will be the main requirement

I'm only 40, and no issues health wise, so I had no trouble at Sandhills. One thing I did notice (or did i miss this?), while it all looks pretty organised. I thought theyd have a fast track for families with kids or elderly and disabled.

Just get those who struggle more off onto trains before all the men and women who are sound.

An absolutely spectacular unique place. The way the stadium peaks over the old dock wall on approach and then getting into the plaza for the first time, really is unlike anything else.

And inside I can’t believe how much closer to the pitch it is in person. It’s more obvious when you’re there that the site and the closeness to the pitch has obviously restricted the capacity. But at the moment would much prefer the intimacy and intimidating feel over a few more thousand seats.

Just needs an ‘Everton’ makeover. Feels like moving into a new home and not unboxing everything yet. Throw some Everton branding in and a full house with the crowd in full voice it will it start to feel less alien.

Can’t wait to go back, couldn’t stop looking around
