New FIFA is out NOW

Its up to date on 360 apart from free agents like Neill. Must be the PS3 thats not up to date.

Ordered Fifa today for £20.

First time I've owned Fifa since 97.

What made the decision for me was the last Pro Evo (Lescott isn't right footed FFS and Neville isn't faster than Pienaar.....), and the straw that broke the camels back was Pro Evos new Liverpool connection.

You can just change that though mate. Pienaar is a silky player on the game though.

Downloaded the demo on the 360. It's pretty good. The only football games I've purchased within the last decade were FIFA '04 and '08, I've never really been into them post PSone era. If I have any spare cash at some point I may consider picking it up, but there are certainly other titles (Halo ODST, Modern Warfare 2, Forza 3 to name a few) that are higher up on my list.

i got the sack last night , first in the prem , beaten all the top 4 , but lost at home to leeds in the fa cup first round and was kicked out.

im now trying to build up my virtual pro instead.

Managers getting sacked randomly
Accomplishments not unlocking
Stats not tracking On and Offline
Insane goalkeeper mistakes
Disconnections Online
Game face totally broken
Online clubs is broken

To whoever said FIFA fans love the arcadyness of the game over Pro Evo's realism...

A poster further on took the words right out of my mouth. If anything PES is by far the more arcady of the two.

The problem is FIFA is too realistic for your average PES fan's liking ie you can't dribble past the whole team to get one-on-one with the 'keeper and actually have to work for a goal.

Don't get me wrong PES is a laugh but it's more fantasy football than a simulation like FIFA.

FIFA over the past few years has taken the best of their own franchise, combined it with what PES originally had over them and for the past two or three years come put with the winner.

Playing PES actually reminds me of playing an NHL hockey game it's soo easy to pass around and dribble in space, it takes away from the realism for me.

Each to their own I guess, it depends what you're after. I want the licensing and the realism which is why I prefer FIFA, I don't mind PES though and would quite happily thrash a mate on it.

Also, for the earlier poster, Lucas Neill isn't on the game, you have to create him. Go to team management and edit/create player.

I would be interested in a GOT FIFA 10 league too btw!

tbh ive been pretty trouble free after the first 24 hours.
the gameface was a bit of a bugger to set up though.

after 5 games i got a warning from the board that results better improove, then i went on a good run till the transfer window (1st in prm), lost to leeds at home in fa cup and got a -9 or -10 club rep , played one more game (which i won) and then the bleeders sacked me.

The form is stupid. I had a MM with Everton, Yakubu was rated 80, I score 9 goals in 4 games with him and his form goes down to 72 and at the same time Dan Gosling who hasn't even played a game has gone up to 82. Its really messed up.
