New In-House Ticket Re-Sale Platform (no more StubHub!)

Mine, for example. No chance I was going with the COVID restrictions, wasn't spending money on a 'day out' that would have felt like a day at the dentist.

But Goodison was 'sold out' regardless. All the empty seats spoke volumes - Everton, as per usual, screwed up.
Maybe it'll be different next time, but I just walked in two minutes before kick off; no queue and no questions asked.

They didn't totally screw this up.
They can say they were listening to their fans when they got rid of Stubhub and brought the service in house.
They can say they are helping season ticket holders sell their ticket for games they can't attend, and at the same time help people who buy memberships get access to single match tickets.
But......
In doing so they make sure before all those season ticket holders can make use of the resale platform, all the crap seats are sold out first, so they can put the sold out sign up every game, making folks think that the tickets are so hard to get they'll not wait till the last minute to buy them.

The fans get screwed, and the club maximizes ticket sales.

That's what I have asked for clarification on.

Will they sell all the obstructed view (more inconvenient view) seats before selling the relisted ST seats, or will they wait to sell all the obstructed (abysmal view) seats too?

Will they release stand by stand as they sell out or en-masse?

I'm sure it will all work out by around mid season point. Buyers (and sellers) will figure out when seats usually go on sale, it's the lack of clarity from the off that's a bit annoying.

Stub hub worked really well. I could list (and sell!) a ticket for next May I wanted to. Shame it's gone but it seems it wasn't the clubs decision.
 
Any ideas when this will be up and running? Farce they blanked SH before this was rolled out as it worked for most who used it
 
First time using this today. As expected, a clunky, long winded and totally unoptimised experience. Everton that.

I had a problem trying to list a junior ticket;

How do I list kids or junior Season Tickets?
The lead purchaser (payment owner) can list kids or junior Season Tickets they have purchased.

There's no option to list it, so I sent a support request. Got this back;

We have logged this and a member of the Everton Football Club Fan Centre team will respond to you within 28 working days to ensure we can gather as much information as possible relating to your query.

28 working days.

No wonder GrandOldTeam get emails and social messages asking basic questions when the club state a timeframe like that.

The club don't seem to have the infrastructure to handle tickets in the first instance, never mind resell.

Also, this is a bit confusing to me;

I had to list mine, my wife’s, and both my kid’s. Assumed I’d be able to do it all in one hit as A) I’m the lead purchaser of all the tickets and B) they’re on my Friends and Family list.

But oh no, I had to do mine, then log out and log in another 3 times using their login details and do them all separately. Was painful mate.

I made that same assumption.

Silly of us though mate.

Never assume anything with this football club.
 
When does the resale platform start? I hope it allows fans to sell there seats well in advance and not just the next fixture. I only get to go a couple of times a year and it involves booking hotels etc
Don't think you'll be able to get them in advance of the normal sale dates. Bit of a disaster for me as flights and hotel are a factor. They get a lot more expensive the closer the date. When you're spending £150-£200, a few extra pounds for a guaranteed good view was worth it. Now, it's nearly always going to be obstructed view or risk getting nothing with the added gamble of flights going up to stupid prices. If it worked for the vast majority, I could 'suck it up', but I'm not sure it does.

People on LinkedIn were praising the club on this when they posted about it, saying Stubhub was a pain and a rip off.

Just listed mine, they can’t even send out an email with proper formatting. lol
